Cheryl Kessler has conducted all phases of program and exhibit evaluation in a range of museum and informal learning environments since 2002. She has a deep interest in promoting evaluation as a useful and important exercise for both planning and understanding how people connect to learning experiences, what they take away, and how those encounters influence their lives. Following seven years at the Institute for Learning Innovation, she relocated to Minnesota and launched Blue Scarf Consulting, LLC in 2010. Cheryl holds a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of California, Davis (2000) and an M.A. in Museum Studies from the John F. Kennedy University, Berkeley, CA (2002). Cheryl has worked with R&L Consulting on several successful IMLS grant proposals since 2008.
