Amy Encinger PHD

Amy Encinger, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Wyoming in the School of Teacher Education. She specializes in child development and early childhood education research and evaluation, with expertise in qualitative and quantitative methods. She has experience in grant writing, data analysis, and report writing, including her role as an Evaluation Specialist at the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Munroe-Meyer Institute and Center for Global Health Security. Dr. Encinger has contributed to projects in early childhood and secondary education, nonprofit organizations, and infection prevention. She was recently awarded a federal research grant from the Administration for Children and Families Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation: Predictors of Native American Children’s Social Emotional Outcomes: A Strengths-Based Approach. She also serves on the board of the Winnebago Health Foundation for the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska.
