Amy Encinger PHD

Amy Encinger, PhD has led and provided support to many evaluation and research projects over the last 10 years, including statewide and national projects. Most of her work has centered on child development and early childhood care and education. Amy is passionate about applying data-driven recommendations to improve child and family wellbeing. A firm believer in the co-construction of meaningful evaluations, she has worked to include measures and data collection approaches that reflect specific client populations being served. She is experienced in both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, with a focus on quantitative research methods. Amy currently serves on the board of the Winnebago Health Foundation for the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska.
She holds a B.S. in Family Science from the University of Nebraska-Kearney, an M.S. in child development/early childhood education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a doctoral degree in human sciences also from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
